I'm looking for some help, I'm back after a lay off of 2-3 years and want to get the best detector for the money. It will be used on the beaches of Cape Cod, wading into the water and scanning the beach. Iused to have a Whites Surfmaster PI but had to sell due to injury. Dont call me cheap "wife does that enough" I say frugal but I saw a couple beach detectors like the viper and one other one for under 300. Has the detector changed in -3 years? I'm lost please give me the best choice for me. Dan
