Power up on the E-TRAC

Hi Everyone, I am just curious if anyone has had an E-TRAC that doesn't power up or is randomly powering up when turning it on? Ok thanks and happy hunting!

the screen came over voltage....put alkaline in she has been smoking ever since

Hi Jim,
I put Duracells in mine. Anyway It is my demo unit and Minelab is going to send me a new one in exchange. It is not a problem when Minelab will do this. They take care of us for sure! Happy Hunting Jim.

Jim it warns about not using lithium batteries in the user manual under the section fitting batteries, even advises that you will get the over voltage error message if you do.
