I awoke to sunshine today and it was a pretty day but on the cool side, as the wind was blowing and leaves are falling everywhere! Leaves fall, so it is the Fall time of the year! They were getting really pretty with all their colors, but with all the rain the trees are losing their leaves! My neighbor's son has been raking and raking the leaves in their front and back yards! I still have them laying in the grass all around! God provides a blanket for the flowers, shrubs and grass for the wintertime with them, but we dumb people rake them up and get rid of or burn them! Goofy world, HUH! God Bless! Ma Betty

get rid of leaves. We let them lie in the flowers and such for cold protection. Not a lot of cold here but it all helps. My favorite time of year is this next 4-5 months. Steve in so az

I used to rake and run the mower over them for shredding, but when I had trees I had so many leaves to mulch that they would be thick on the ground anyway after mulching, if I didn't use the bag and it was messy when I did! The shredded leaves would be tracked into the house when they were wet! I have always left them in my flower beds and then cleaned them out in the Spring! My neighbor who does the mowing will probably mulch them with his riding mower this year! Neither one of us has trees but the neighbor in back of me has several and we get his blown over into our yards! Other trees around, too, so we get some of their leaves when the wind is blowing really strong! 'Twas a nice day today but I didn't get out as I didn't sleep good last night so felt badly and very tired! But I did sleep enough to have a very nice dream!

I dreamed I was in a church service with others and I was singing beautifully with them and I never could carry a tune very easily and now with my COPD, I can't seem to sing much at all, although I try at times! So, a very pleasant dream being in Church and singing! God Bless! Betty
