Praise the Lord, we received rain about an hour or so ago....

came down in sheets and flooded my Patio because it rained about 2 inches in just a very short time! It is still raining more slowly and steady, so getting much needed rain again for our lawns, flowers and trees! Thank You, Jesus, for sending rain and watering your creations so we don't have to do so and have higher water bills! Hope Texas and other dry areas get rain for refreshing of the land! Amen! Ma Betty

We have finally gotten some rain this week as well. Maybe there's hope for my garden after all. I've about given up on it....in one months time we've had a flood, a drought, three wind storms and hail twice. Tonight, we had some very scary clouds that were moving overhead faster than any I'd ever seen. Travis was out in the polebarn feeding the animals when it came up. I looked out the front window and all I saw were tree limbs flying around. I thought for a moment we had a tornado...but, it was just straight line winds I suppose. I'd guess in the 65-70 mph range. Came up so fast, the NWS didn't even issue any warnings.

There is a chance of rain the next 6 of 7 days.

HI Martin hope you have a blessed weekend, also! Praise the Lord, Liz, that you didn't have a tornado and I pray your garden survives and produces much fruit and veggies for you to eat and can! Hi Mike, I hope you get rain but not so much in 15 minutes like we did!

The Lord is good but we hope He allows it to rain slower and steadily without the terrible winds and downpours! The Lord washed my Paito Door outside glass on each side by the rain just literally sliding down like I would have poured buckets of water from the top going to the bottom...never had that before, as I couldn't see out of them for a little while and also the patio was covered by an inch or two of water, as it was raining so hard, the water couldn't run off! It was raining this morning when I awoke but is sunny and a very bright day with white clouds and a blue sky this afternoon! My neighbor will have to get the lawns mowed when he can but right now the ground is pretty wet and we had a large pond in the Common Ground again! Nice to have rain, but not so much at once! :) But will take whatever we can get for the summer as it is usually very hot, humid and the lack of rain! May God Bless ya all with a most blessed day in our Lord Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty

You know, we had rain, rain, and more rain this past spring, but went digging the other day and it was dry as a bone 5" down. We are getting some sprinkles right now.
