Pray for Karen

Please pray for Karen. She is a teacher at the school I work at. Last week she told me she was not feeling well. When I got to work on Tuesday, I found out she had to have emergency surgery on Monday. I talked to her husband tonight at work, and he said she has colon cancer. There is a tumor on her colon that is either pressing against the spleen or growing onto it. The tumor had pressed on her bowel forcing it shut, thus the surgery to put a bag on her side for the time being. They also have found a spot of something on her liver, and they are going to biopsy it tomorrow. Karen and her husband Larry are faithful Christians. Please pray for Karen and Larry and their daughter Brittany, who is away at a Christian college in Kansas. I told her husband tonight that God is still in the healing business and that His will is going to be done.

Praying for Karen! May the Lord touch her and do a mightly healing in her life and may Jesus' comforting love and joyous strength give them peace that passes all understanding in this trial of her disease! Their faith and hope is in the fact that she is saved and knows Him as her Savior and Lord! Amen! :angel: God Bless! Betty
 
Greater is He that is in her than he that is in this world....no one and nothing can snatch her from the hands of God...she is bought and paid for by Jesus and she is His...God shall meet all their needs...including medical....according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus...thanking God in Jesus name for giving His all for us and by His stripes we were healed. Thank you Jesus, thank you Father God and thank you Holy Spirit for moving according to the Father's will to help Karen and her family during these times and situations. In Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers for Karen. Did not get to talk to her husband on Friday. The principal said they had no word yet. They were to biopsy the liver spot, and I think they were going to go in and remove the tumor from her colon, or the spleen. I still don't know if the tumor is or was attached to the spleen. As soon as I hear anything on her condition, I will post. Please continue to pray.
