Our Pastor informed us tonight that he is resigning from his Senior Pastor position to take a position with Leadership Ministries WorldWide, which teaches and equips Pastors around the world. He is a great man on God with lots of knowledge, and I thank God for having served with him these last few years. He is following Gods' Will for his life. Pray that we will know the man God has chosen. Pray that our church will stay together as one and not go backwards. Pray that those within and without the church will not use this as a way to cause more trouble. Pray that satan will be bound from causing turmoil. Pray for our Deacon Board as they search for a new Pastor.

Praying for God to answer all your prayer requests in Jesus' name! Dear Lord, Please bind and rebuke satan so that there will not be any troubles in any of what DK is asking! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for hearing and answering prayers in the favor of Doug, his pastor and the church and for the Deacon Board to find the replacement preacher the church needs for a loving and peaceful congregation with many set on Spiritual Fire for serving and fulfilling your plan for each of them! It is done! Amen! So be it! May God Bless! Amen!

Long story short, when our Pastor left (the one who lead me to Christ), we hired another senior Pastor. Terrible decision; church split a bit... my wife and I almost left the church too. After a couple of years, he quit (was fired?) and we brought in another senior pastor. A Godly man and a great teacher / leader. He brought the church together. Trouble makers left because he would rebuke them with scripture. A number of years have passed, the church is growing and we just had our last service in our old building; we will continue in a beautiful new church building next week.
While it wasn't a very pleasant time, we had to go through it because it was all God's plan. In order for us to be where we are now, we had hard lessons to learn. The bottom line is, God is in control. I pray that God brings in the man he wants to be there in your church and protects it from those who seek no good.
