Pray for Pastor Tim

Please pray for our music minister, Pastor Tim. Tim is our associate pastor, music minister, fill in youth pastor, and a little of everything. He is one of the most gifted men I have ever served with. We found out this morning that he is a possible candidate for being the Senior Pastor at a church in Michigan. He and his wife are going up this week to talk to the church and ask questions, and get to know the people. Tim wants to do Gods' will. We want him to do Gods' will. He did not go looking for a church, but they looked for him. We all know that if a person is doing great and mighty things for God, someone is going to want that person to be a part of their ministry.

Pray that Tim will be able to truly discern Gods' will for his life. If it is Gods' will for him to move on and become a pastor, pray that Tim would be obedient to follow God. He stated that he doesn't want to leave the church, but he wants to do the will of God.

Pray for Pastor Randy, as he and Tim are very close, and he is really sad by the possibility of Tim moving on, even though Pastor Randy wants the will of God to be done. Pray for our church, that if Tim does move on, that we will stand together, and stand behind whomever God calls to replace him. As you can see Tim filled alot of shoes, and it will be hard to replace him if he leaves, but we know that God has a plan, and He will see it through.

Mike, not sure of his destination. I overheard the Pastor mention Michigan. I am going by the church office later, and if I find out I will let you know. Wherever it is, if he goes, they are getting a good man.

...God has the plan figured out already. If God wants Tim to be a senior Pastor then he will. On top of that, He's already got the replacement picked out and it will work out better than you can ever imagine. God tends to do things that way

Will be praying, DK, for Pastor Tim and also Pastor Randy and the church members! God has it all planned out already and by listening to His Spiritual guidance and obeying, everything will work out for everyone's good, who love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose!
