never been close to my brother and never been impressed with his wife. They are I guess 'church goers' but whenever I talked with them on the phone they always sounded 3 sheets to the wind. Apparently, I am low class to them but anyway...Got a call from my brother's wife the other night. She wasn't going to call but she said her conscience said she should. Didn't like her attitude from the git go but she went on to say my brother has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I asked how he was doing. I should know not to show concern for him with her. She wouldn't say. I thanked her for calling to let me know and she commented it is hereditary and told me (not suggested) to undergo tests. I said to let my brother know we love him at which she argued and said we would pray for him at which she said never mind we will take care of it ourselves.
From the way I had been treated over all the years by my brother and now his wife too..I'd like to just kick the dust from my shoes about them...but I know that isn't right. Please pray for my brother and his wife and their families who I am sure are under a lot of stress making them even more difficult to talk with. May God bless them and help my brother Harold Jr. or JR as he prefers to be called be rid of the cancer. Maybe this will be a way of God reaching them in this time of fear. Thanks all.
