Prayer request and a warning........

I am alive. Daughter still sick, but getting much better. Having "issues" with Ad-ware installing themselves into our computer. A note for the one or two people that might read this....Beware of a company called StorageProtector. They install their software into your system via a trojan, then fill your computer with phony error messages that then make you want to use their company to "fix" the problem. This stuff is truely invasive and can wreck you operating system and drive you nuts trying to fix it. That is what I've been doing since tuesday. Luckily there are smart computer folks out there that have counter spy, ad and malware that can eliminate this stuff.

that's one way they put the junk onto your computer then tell you you have a problem so you will download their alleged program to solve the problem....so they can put trojans on the computer to hack your system.

One has to be VERY careful these days.

I had a similar experience where I downloaded ( unintentionally..hit wrong keyboard keys) and I had weeks of unwanted advertising pop-ups. I would uninstall the program and it would re-appear...it was aggravating, and frightening...

somehow I was able to finally rid my computer of this annoyance....it caused havoc with my e-mail delivery system , which I had to spend hours on line with the techs to fix it.

I 'm being very careful from now on.
