For once, I have amazing news.... I got the job! I still have the same financial concerns, and got a bit of bad news about Loren's after school care, but I feel like I HAVE to take it. The pay is wretched and the hours aren't the best, but it's my dream and where my heart is. I can make a difference and will be allowed to enter our local school system as often as I please. The director has promised to work around my school hours and I believe she will do her best. I've spent several days trying to weigh the positive and negative aspects and have decided to quit analyzing and go for it. My unemployment will not last forever and frankly, I want to work again. Woohoo! I am thrilled.

Glad for you sis! I am sure Loren will be fine. Go get em Liz!

Thanks, y'all. Indeed, if I were only concerned about money I would never have chosen the field of education. I will make less than 100 dollars per week once I pay for childcare....so y'all can see my concern. It's pretty important for me to be able to pay my car payment and gas, otherwise what is the point? God has it, I'm just going to see what he has in store.

Thanks, Mike. The Christian in-home daycare Loren went to for four years is at capacity and she will not be able to attend. No biggie, she is just really comfortable and loved there and Travis and I wanted her there. Everyone in my family works except my dad, who is disabled and Travis's dad, who retired because of a bad heart. My sisters could help out some, but won't (long story there), so we are forced to put her in an afterschool program. If she were a bit older, she could actually come to the library every day. All will work out like it should.
