Prayer Request.....

Randy Cosner

New member
As many of you remember I have a son named Justin that has been in and out of trouble since he was 16 and left home when he was 17. Justin, who just turned 19, is at point in his life where he is continuing to make some very unwise choices in his life. He is living a life style that can be very dangerous to him. He is out of work, and is living from one place to another. I called him last night and he told me that he is in a shelter home for men in Boise right now and that he will not be home for Christmas.

Justin is into alcohol and drugs, and I know that he steals to get food and clothing and his drugs and alcohol. He continues to hang out with his "friends" that get into trouble and provide this unsafe and non Christian environment for him. I have done what I can as a father to help him, and I can not do anything more. I pray every night that the Lord keeps Justin safe. I have lost many hours of sleep worrying about him and waiting for that dreaded phone call that he is either in jail, hurt, or things even worse. He has an opportunity to go into Job Corp and get the training and education he needs to get him out of this life style. But he refuses to do it because he rather keep doing what he is doing than be somewhere that can give him structure, guidance, and training.

I am asking for your prayers that God's Will be done and that Justin can see that he needs to change his life style and seek the guidance of the Lord.

Your Christian Brother

Randy

The only ones who know what it's like to have a prodigal child are the lovung fathers who have one. The nights without the sleep, the wondering if they are ok, if they're not, where are they now, they haven't called or came over, are they dead or alive, will this ever end to the good? The best thing may be incarceration. It would at least take him away from the substances. Randy I know what it's like. May God be glorified. I will pray for Justin and you.
