Update from Doug and Brian and family...........


Brian will be honored at school tomorrow!

Brian's home-bound teacher called today and said that all of the students could wear ball caps to school tomorrow in honor of Brian. She said the students and the staff have really missed Brian and are looking forward to when he returns to school!!

Thank you Powell Middle School staff and students for all of the cards, gifts, thoughts and prayers. They mailed a large envelope full of beautiful hand made get well cards to the hospital and our whole family were deeply touched by them. No one had a dry eye after reading them!!

When we got home, they sent a beautiful ballon bouquet for Brian's birthday on Monday. Thank you again, Brian loved it.

We also would like to thank the Knox County School System for going to the extreme to care for Brian's safety while at school.

Brian loves school and told me last night that he wished he could go back soon. Our hope is for him to return after the first of the year.

Such wonderful news of very caring and loving school mates and friends of Brian! I am sure these all helped him to want to get better and be back as soon as he can to be with them! God is so good to His Children whether young, middle-aged or older! Our heavenly Father is awesome and blesses us through others' love and caring, as well as His! God Bless! Betty
