Prayers for Leelan....

Actually 2 prayers...Leelan had tubes put into his ears about a month ago. Casey was to take him to the doctors in a week after for a check up. She didn't. Grrrr. Leelan has had a cough since he came out of surgery...we suspected pneumonia but Casey being the great mom she is "I had to work." Burger King is more important to her than her son. Apparently, her friends are more important as well because instead of watching her son she is busy texting. She tunes Sherry and I out. Yeah, he does have pneumonia. Only 16 months old and Mom is too busy with her own self-centered life. We are so frustrated with her. We'd have kicked her out had it not been for her little 'kid' as she puts it. Grrr. He is not a goat.

Anyway she will be bouncing Leelan from place to place for the next week. She has been known to not give the medication needed for as long as needed or she subjects the medicine to the heat of her car. Tears us up that Leelan has to suffer like this. He is much like me when I was a child. I feel for him more than most can understand.

Please pray Leelan gets over the pneumonia quickly. Pray I stay out of jail as I so much want to put a boot up her...... grrrr.
please pray for Casey as well. that God will let her hit bottom and cry out for His help. She is beyond out help. She needs serious help and doesn't see it or just doesn't care.

All of you are in my prayers, Pete. I see exactly what you are describing in so many young girls and boys these days. Sad, but your description is the norm (for this day and time) instead of the exception. Casey is still a kid herself even though she is a 'big girl' with a child of her own. I will be praying for her eyes and heart to be opened and that she be changed into the young woman & mother that God would have her to be. I will also be in prayer for Leelan and the health issues he is dealing with and for his mother's actions not to cause bad feelings or other things to take root in him.

Amen to Lisa's post! I'm Praying for Leelan's healing from pnuemonia in Jesus' precious, holy name! I guess she doesn't understand how ill her child can be with just a cold, let alone pnuemonia which causes him difficult breathing problems! Hopefully and prayerfully, she will grow up and I pray little Leelan stays well and doesn't have to suffer for her sake! May God have mercy on him and bring her to the bottom of the ditch until she cries out unto Jesus, for the help she needs to be saved and gain godly wisdom with caring love for her son! Seems many have to learn the hard way when taking care of their children and also themselves! I pray for you and Sherry to not have to be so sad and grieving for your grandson when you both have so many other problems! Give him the love he needs and turn Casey over to God...Let Go and Let God! Hard I know to do but you can only pray and take care of yourselves and Leelan right now.......Jesus will take care of her according to God's will! Amen! Ma Betty

The Bible says that "Little ones such as these have Angels in Heaven who see the face of My Father DAILY." It also says that " It would be better for a person to place a mill stone about their necks and cast themselves into the depths of the sea than to face Me on Judgement Day." If you do not take "ALL" appropriate actions to correct her behavior by "ANY" means including contacting the Authorities then these Scriptures do apply to you and anyone else who has failed to act on Leelan's better behalf.!!!!! I am not a Biblical Counselor or anything but I do believe that if you do not act NOW you are endangering leelans health and Welfare and that you, I believe, will lose any and all chances of breaking Casey of her own current behavior.To me there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for endangering the health of a little baby. NONE. I believe GOD feels the same way. I do urge you to take IMMEDIATE but also appropriate and controlled actions now. Leelans health is more important than her convenience or whims.This is what is called "TOUGH LOVE" I will pray also for your own pain and anger and that GOD breaks her of her wantonness.
