Since I started my job at the library almost four months ago, I have had the worst sinuses and allergies of my life. I've been on antibiotic after antibiotic, numerous different meds and I can't seem to get ahold of things. I've had bronchitis, pneumonia and a chronic sinus infection. Here I set tonight with an ear infection and fluid. It's been really hard to function well with all this going on and it really concerns me that I am so allergic to things in my workplace. I have had random problems through the years, but NOTHING like this. My Dr. says a library is one of the most toxic work environments out there.....the germs from all of our patrons, the mold and dust from the books and lots of formaldehyde being put off as well. Our library is def aging and mold is visible in several places. :( We have our big summer reading program going on right now and missing work is just not an option!

Prayers going up for you, my friend!

Lisa

thorugh cleaning from top to bottom; inside and out! Not a healthy place to work in, for mold is very dangerous and can be deadly to your immune system along with dust, germs and etc. from all the people using the books! I know it is easier said than done, but if really bad....the health department needs to know about it and try to get them to do something to reduce the problems causing illness to humans and even animals should they have them but don't! I know how ill a person can be, because that is a lot of my problems for being so allergic to too much and causing other illnesses in my body! May God's protective armor be upon and around about you, for better health! Amen! It may be better for all of you if you quit your job and I know you don't want to do that but better alive and healthy than sickly and pssibly dead, for Travis and Loren need you well and happy in the Lord! Amen! Ma

Prayers begin now. Maybe the Lord has a different path in store for you?

prayers said!!!! stay on top of your ear infections or they eill lead to hearing loss, i have 30% hearing loss due to sinus infections.

Thanks for all the prayers, Mike, Steve, Lisa and Ma! The pressure and severe pain have lessened this morning, praise the Lord! I actually paced for a few hours last night it got so bad. I can honestly say I hope this is my first and last ear infection! Now I really understand what my poor child has gone through all these years. I will just keep praying about my job as I do love it. It is not perfect, but what is??? I do know I cannot continue to be sick all the time and pay a ton of medical bills.
