President Obama to Eliminate U.S. Manned Space Program .........

The Obama administration on Thursday confirmed that it is cutting NASA's manned space program -- in particular, the Constellation program and missions to the moon -- pointing to its estimated $55 billion price-tag. Instead, in the near-term, the U.S. will pay Russia to carry its astronauts into space.
