Pretty penny day for the F70

I want to thank all of you guys that don't want to pick up pennies. Thank you....
If you are going to hunt an elementary school I would think you wouldn't notch out pennies? Maybe I am the fool for telling him he shouldn't? I know there was someone before me because I had to fill a number of his holes. I picked up 65 pennies, 4 quarters, and 6 dimes at an elementary school that someone had just hit. Maybe early this morning because the dirt was still black in the holes and outside of the holes. The quarters and dimes where found near poles. Do you think I should tell him he should invest in a small coil? The other coins
(106 total) were found at another elementary school.
This is hunt #54 this season and the (2nd set) batteries are still on 2 bars, Sens@ 60, thres@ -3, Disc@ 20, Tones@ 3H, DE mode and 6.5" coil. I dug a quarter at 8" today.

Thanks for posting the pictures, you and the F70 are getting it done. I am like you, I will not pass on a penny.
 
Dan it took some time to get use to the F70. I saw almost right away that I had to learn to use it, because it is so versatile and simple. Iskirkra over 50% of my finds are pennies. I am out there having fun, breathing in fresh air, soaking up sunshine, communing with nature and expelling gas. It just doesn't get any better..... Happy Trails....Z
 
Saturday I was in mem cent hades! Couldn't shake 'em! Got about 50 and two wheaties. Noisy parkway work. Too many rusty Zincolns in the mix too!

But hey, I know the next mems I pick up there will be cleaner and newer.
 
That is just the way it is. I threw away a cup full of zinks that were bad. I still enjoy hitting those pennies in fact 57% of my finds are pennies. I am still surprised to find so many wheats all over the place. When I look at my pennies from the day there maybe a wheat or 2 in there even from tot lots. Happy Trails...Z
