Just got a MI-6. Really neat pinpointer. No need to remember some arcane code to change settings, just turn it on and settings appear on the remote screen. How cool is that?
 
Its the best love mine no more worrying about 9 volt batteries!!
 
I have been using one for about a year.

I like it a lot, but there is a light time delay when switching over from the coil to the probe and also when going back.

PS You are correct the battery charge seems to last for ever.
 
I am very happy with mine also. Love the idea that it all comes through my headphones.
