General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Slightly used Vaquero with stock coil and 5.75 Concentric coil ( Scuff covers for both ) plus Brand New accessories. New Accessories include : #1.- Large Detector Bag. #2- Rain Jacket for the Detector. #3.- ABS Lower Pole. The Vaquero was purchased this fall and maybe has 20 hours of use on it. Two reasons I didn't post a picture. #1 - I don't know how. #2 - I live in a rural area where only dial-up is available and it takes forever. I'm not sure if the warranty is trasferrable , but I've heard that Tesoro really backs up their detectors. I realize that new Vaqueros go for about $420.00. My Vaquero is virtually brand new. I doubt if it even has 20 hours on it. Plus I paid a little over a $100.00 for the 5.75 Concentric coil. Not to mention the Brand new Large Detector Bag , Brand New Rain Coat for it , and Brand New ABS Lower Pole for it. I know my original asking price of $440.00 was a little high , but with everything included and the detector being practically new I really thought $400.00 was decent deal for the whole package. I guess I got a little frustrated that I only got one offer for $350.00 , so I figured that I'd just hang onto it even though I am rather hard up for cash right now. Plus if I took the $350.00 offer it would still cost me around $14.00 to ship and $8.00 in bubble wrap and that would bring it down to $328.00 for the whole package. I would let it all go for $380.00 , but that is rock bottom. Thanks for the advice. CoinShooter-Craig
 
i would also recommend breaking up the package just my 2cents
"V" $320-$350
coil and rod $60-$75
bag $25-$50 (not sure witch bag you have)
rain coat maybe $20?
seems you would of come out better that just my 2cents.
I could be completely off on my prices but these are prices I would be willing to pay if I needed these items

Hi Pulltab. Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure what I want to do yet. I really don't want to sell the detector because I really like it alot and it's practically new and the accessories are brand new ( I just got them as x-mas gifts tonight ) , but I am kinda hard up for cash right now. I figured putting together a sweet package deal would help it sell better , and I didn't feel like spending the time to sell each item seperately and spending money to ship each item. Maybe you are right that it would be the best way to do it. I'm going to mull it over for a few days to try to figure out exactly what I want ( Need ) to do. I did work alot of overtime and my band has a gig newyears eve , so maybe I won't be as bad off moneywise as I think. This heating season is what is putting the hurts on me with December here in Northern Wisconsin being one of the coldest that I can remember in my 38 years of Wisconsin Winters. Anyways , thanks for your helpful advice and I just may do like you suggested , but I've got a little thinking to do first. Happy Holidays. CoinShooter-Craig
