I'm now hunting in All Metal with Threshold at Zero.(Previously pattern 1 and Threshold at 8 or 9). Targets seem to be hitting "harder" (sharper??) than they were before. I'm definitely getting deeper. Dug up a small button at 8". I also found a 1963 silver dime. It rang in so hard that I almost didn't dig it....thought I was digging up an aluminum can.
I'm digging up many more "iffy" targets, because the Pro Pointer speeds things up so much. Getting a LOT more pulltabs, but I'm getting other good stuff too(old watch and broken jack knife).
Other info: 5x10 coil, Sens 25, Auto Noise Cancel, Auto GB Tracking(GB has been about 25), All Metal, Multi-Tone
