Eric could you use the probe on the deepstar 3 on another combination say an explorer or dfx, like a pocket probe ?????????

Hi John,
I'm sure the answer would be no. The DS3 probe is wound as a mono winding and its electrical characteristics are likely to be wildly out for a detector that is not PI.
