The Bullseye is a decent pinpointer. But don't try using it as a probe. It won't take the abuse! I had a few (received as a White's freebie when I bought a new detector) and none of them would locate a coin an inch from the tip. I always used mine in vibration mode, since I wear headphones. If I hunted without headphones, I suppose the audio mode would be OK. And, the led might come in handy if you were trying to find something in poor lighting.

At around the same price, I like the VibraProbe better. It still shouldn't be used to pry targets out of the ground. But it is a lot more solid than the Bullseye or Bullseye II. And, it is waterproof. In fact, it floats! In addition, it is longer and easier for me to hang onto while using it. No knobs or toggles. It turns itself on when I tip it up.... and turns itself off when I put it back in the belt-mounted holster. It goes a little bit deeper than the White's, and is only sensitive on the tip of the shaft. The only problem I've had with my Vibraprobe is a bit of detector chatter when using it near some detectors. Being a Pulse Induction type detector, it can cause interference if you get it close to the coil of your detector. So when you put your detector down to dig, move the coil away from the hole! I use a Vibraprobe and Digger is spot on with his description. It cuts down my search time considerably although it would be nice if it had a little more range.
