The new old house I'm hunting looks promising. Lots of iron. Got a couple of wheats '49 and '50 and a 1949 canadian quarter. That was nice to find, I wasn't sure until I got home and and cleaned off the date. Looks like it will be a good place. built around late 1920s.

Silver is always nice to find, regardless of where it was minted! Great start on a property that I hope yields you many more coins. HH Randy

Looks like you found where the dog house was.

Good luck with the new site! So far it DOES appear that it will produce.

A sparkplug gap guage, dog tags, loose change.......are you sure that you're not hunting my house?

WTG Jeff, it does look like you found a good yard to work. if it is full of iron Just keep workin super slow.

Yeah Iron,
The orange in front of George's nose appears to be rust. Definitely rust on the back side. Sounded good N to S and E to W but not the back swings. This place has some areas that are not to bad for trash and about 15% has had the turf scraped off. Can only be their on the weekends so this place is going to take a long time to hunt. More so because 'cause I plan on doing some diving this year.
