That kind of title gets my attention very quickly too.
Did three short hunts at the beach this week. Used an Ace 150.
The temperature has really been up and down, sometimes light snow blowing through, other times warm and sunny. Cherry blossom season due to start at the end of March.
On the way to the beach by car today I passed a man riding a bicycle with two very big bags of cans tied to it, he collects them from the trash and sells them for recycling, probably makes enough for a meal a day. Wondered what he would find if he went metal detecting every day and put the same energy into it, he crushes each can flat and seems to be very busy day and night. On the way back from the beach, by chance there he was again, this time without a load of cans. Hopefully he ate well today, but you know what kind of metal hunting I prefer.
910 yen in coins.
Usual sinkers. A large cap or lid of some sort - has some interesting design around the edge, will clean it up.
Four rings - one without any markings but I'll count it as one for now because it 'feels like' white gold to me, so it doesn't go to the junk pile too quickly.
The platinum one (#2 for this year) brought out my loupe pretty (read - VERY!) fast and naturally kept me on a natural high all day too!!

Including a demolition photo, just thought it was interesting how they used the tatami mats from the house to protect the road.
