Just a reminder to the old salt's and the newbie's alike. Today my wife asked me to check some of her jewelry she's had for a long time to see if I could determine the metal content. She laid down piece after piece and I told her what metal it was made from. When she laid down some 14k gold my Minelab nulled out. I said to myself, self what have you done to mask this gold. I immediately went to the select screen on my explorer and noticed I had x-out pull tab on my icon. I reset with a check mark and you can figure out the rest. I scanned that gold again and it rang up 12 on my xs and middle of the screen on smartfind. Just a lesson to learn, always check your settings in case you make a change to it and don't return it.
