Went out again today on my 2nd hunt with the AT pro. Dug alot of junk and some clad. Can't seem to get my detector to sense bottle caps with the "low-high-low" beep. What am I doing wrong? I'm using pro mode-coins with iron set at 35.

Once you get the hang of it most of them stand out like the proverbial dogs balls. My advice would be to gather a few in various states of decay and practice at home on them, swinging the coil wide on each side of the cap to become familiar with the tone change

Are you switching on Iron Audio when you come across a suspect target? With your Iron Disc set that high and running in the Coins mode, you won't hear the low-high-low. Run in Zero disc. Pro if you want to get more goodies.

I'll try that, have been using pro-coins mode all the time. Thanks

I ran the iron disc on all of last year, I like to hear the iron growls, the first hunt I shut it off and just dug any signal above 40, it seemed clearer in the wet soil
