Anyone know anything about a model called Gold Scan by Pulse Tech? Is this company still in business?
Frank

if your looking for the goldscan 4 there address is www.finders.com.au

Hi Frank,
I was Pulse Technology's Technical Director from 1986-91 and they took over some of my existing designs, Goldscan included. Pulse Technology were bought by a US company a couple of years ago and now only deal with industrial detectors. The Goldscan model has not beem made for about 5 years, although I am planning on intruducing a revised version in the not too distant future.
Eric.

Hello Eric. Thanks for the information. I had some experience (or should I say an experience) with a Gold scan about 7 years ago. I live in Oregon and in my very bad ground it didn't perform at all. I have a friend who uses one just to find black sand deposits with it.
