Hi Guys,
I have been using my quattro here in Perth Western Australia since it first was released.I have had great success with it .One of the things i have noticed is with aluminium screw caps when i used the sovereign for 11 years i kept a lot of the screw caps. After testing with the quattro on some 80 odd caps there were 24 out of the 80 that i could not knock out .Some come in at 33-36 these i can knock out,34 which is our $2 and 35 our $1 .But with the sovereign they all come in at 175 on the sunray meter. One of the things that i found helped was first start up was to hold the button down to factory pre set .Bring your sensitivity back to 1. Remove all discrimination back to zero.Put your coins in make your pattern save that then bring your sensitivity up to 10-12. This then makes the beepa a lot more sharper in discrimination.

Did you know that some of the pull tabs from the soft drink cans are made of a titanium alloy? The Quattro is also very sensitive to the differences in all types of metals, so that you will get a variation in readings from the same type pull tab and crown cap, if the metal has altered in any way. At least that's what I've found.
