Just as I was trying to take a dang picture, my batteries ran out in my DigiCam:( BUT, today I was hunting for about an hour and half and I found my first ring. I have been detecting for about 8 months first with a Garret GTP 1350, then with a Minelab Advantage, and now with the Quattro. The location I was hunting is somewhat of an older school that has been shut down. I have hunted somewhere around 30-40 hours with my 2 previous detectors at this site. The ring had a nice solid tone, and was solid a 25 on the LCD with around half way on the depth readout. I dug a plug about 3" in diameter and about 5" in depth and got my first ring. I was pretty excited to say the least. The ring reads the name Paul. Most likely not of any value, but to me it is :) Also got a tiny lock about 4" down, and a few coins, nothing old. Great fun. My next stop is going be a really old school that dates back to the late 1800's.... HH all

Take it slow at that old school...silver will be all but assured.
