Quattro on the way

Cherry Picker

New member
I have traded for a like new Quattro and should be getting it this Friday. I am use to hunting with a Cz-5, How would you start out with the Quattro. Places I hunt are kind of trashy with nails and the like, homesteads, ghost towns , etc.. By reading past post , this doesn't seem to be the best machine for high trash, (slow recovery speed). Should I run it wide open on the disc and just try and listen to everything. Why isn't the high density setting recommended much?. I need to get a copy of Andy's book if anybody has one for sale. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
HH, jerry
