does sunray make a probe for the Quattro ? and does it operate on alkaline batteries , and also have a rechargeable system as well , are the tones like the explorer ?? Thanks for your time .....Adam
 
Adam,

The X-1 probe is compatible with all Explorer models as well as the Quattro. The only difference is that it is pre-mounted on a blue supper shaft for the Quattro. Since the X-1 is essentailly a small 1" coil it gives the same type of visual and audible target ID as the coil for which ever model it is installed on. It operates in-line with the detector and uses the detector's power source so no extra batteries are needed. All sounds are heard through the detector headphones. Hope this helps.
