Quattro - UK settings? New user.

Hi there. I've just purchased a quattro!! Yee ha. But what settings should I start out with to target coins and roman relics? The first few trips will be on club outtings to cropped farm land here in the UK. I have yet to buy Andy S book - sounds like this will be a must. Thanks for your help to get me up and running.

Welcome to the forum, my suggestion would be all metal with just -10 rejected and digging everything to get some idea on what is in the ground in your part of the world. The sensitivity can be used in auto or manual as high as you can get it without the detector falsing but don't forget that lower settings also result in finds if it is a trashy site.

hi i had a quattro just upgraded to the e-trac,start in coin mode you wont go wrong in this mode this is what i mostly used ,i had roman hammered coins in this mode i found all metal way to much iron in uk fields
