Quattro Vs. Safari?

I had considered a Quattro a few years back. One of the things I read at the time was that it had a very slow response time...something I consider an attribute. Now with the Safari I see a larger coil, and a claim to be better in trash than the Quattro.

Other than that I see little difference, other than a higher price tag.

Can someone shed some light?

Hello Neil,
I have a Quattro and a Safari and they are both great machines. The Safari has a faster recovery speedhe Safari
and the pro coil on it which gives it a bit more depth but not much. You have to hunt a little slower in a
trashy area with the Quattro but it will find the good deep coins too.The Safari does do a little better in the trashy
area's and the pro coil is great too but other than those two things and the color they are the almost the same.
