hi all, was tring to find info on the quattro, and how differnt it is from the explorer..is it as complcated to operate? trying to decide on a detector. cant find any dealer here in the st louis area that can hardly even turn on the quattro to show it to me. thanks don
 
Quattro is more user friendly, but does not have as much variable settings to adjust for conditions.We all know from using an Explorer once learned (learning period varies) its top of the list with its abilities..Unfortunately Quattro hasn't been out long enough for much feedback..Personally think it would be tough to meet or exceed the standards of an Explorer so would advise buying an Explorer , but that is your call.
 
Talk to Guvnor, he is not only the Site owner, but is a Minelab dealer <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> . He could probably help you out.
