Today is a national holiday in Bermuda because this is a colony of Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Not being a royalist myself, I enjoyed the paid day off just the same, beautiful weather. The beaches are packed so there should be some good hunting later this week.
I took a spin to Chaplin Bay but came up empty except for some old shell casings and a few pull tabs.

Some Long-tails showed up to keep me company and were followed by hordes of beach goers so I headed back to the Toenail.

On my way home I pulled into Church Bay for another shot at some loot but it wasn't to be, just one thin dime! I did pick up some more company in the form of 3 blue parrot fish who followed me around for a while.

It wasn't my day for luck so called it a day as the low tide faded and the surf picked up.
