Seems to be some dispute as to what batteries are best to use in the Metal Detector: Rechargeable or your
standard batteries. Some people have said they machines don't work as well with rechargeable. To me a
battery is a battery is a battery. Pleas shed some light on this for me.

They all work fine. It would be quite rare that a detector may have an problem with a rechargeable. It would only occur when using 9 volt batteries as well. I've been using the same set of batteries for the last 3 years and they are still going strong. I guess I'll chuck 'em out when they look like they had had their day. That may be a few years off yet. They have done well over 500 hours so far.
