I found a little ring today it won't even fit on my pinky finger. I checked for markings and on the inside of the top of the ring there is an A with a star next to it. There are no other markings like 10K or 14K...there is a small S design on the face. any Ideas?

Hello massdigr, can you post a pic of the ring with the markings? Also a good jeweler may be able to help you identify the hallmark.
