Question about headphones

So I bought a really nice set of gray ghost headphones for my minelab ctx3030. With my new headphones, I discovered that because of my advancing age, I really can't hear targets that well when I pass over them. I've tried it both wirelessly and also have connected directly using an adapter. My volume control is up at maximum.
Can anyone recommend headphones for those of us who don't hear that well anymore? Thanks!
 
I’ve never used the 3030 but is it possible to adjust the tone pitch on that machine ..many people struggle more with certain tones.. usually high tones are easier to hear than low.. good luck..
