any info.would be appreciated.I'm considering buying a 10 yr.old unit.how would it compare to modern units? Is it like the fisher impulse? PLEASE HELP! thanks chuck

The Pulse 8 by J.W. Fishers is not the same company as Fisher M-Scope company, makers of the Impulse.
The Pulse 8 was designed for diving work, and you my be disappointed with it
 
I bet you'll be EXTREMELY disappointed in that unit. Especially if you ever need to get them to repair it.
