Question about setting up the 11" coil on XP Deus

Greetings, fellow metal detecting maniacs!

I have a question to ask here: I've had an XP Deus v3.0 for a few years now, but have only used it like 3 times over that period. The other day I decided to give it a go again. The batteries charged well, no problem there.
However, I decided to add the bigger 11" coil that I've also had for years, but was never able to get going. I added the serial number through the remote, I think it synced to the the headphones and overall the coil seemed to be communicating with the remote (see picture 1). However, NO SOUND from the coil!! =( (meaning it's not detecting). I've also attached a second pic of the list of coils (my #1, the regular size coil works fine).

PLEASE, somebody help me. Do I have a defective large coil? Am I doing something wrong? These setup procedures seem to be quite particular =)

Thank you in advance for any help or advice that you can throw my way. I'm only a newbie here.

Cheers!

In your pictures it shows the full charge of the remote.
Does it change to show the coil charge and then back?

When you turn on the remote do you select audio "YES"?

You might need to un-install "The Coil" and re-install it.

Just some idea to check...

Good Luck

Yes, it flashed to shows the fully charged coil, too - hence they ARE communicating.
Yes, I choose YES for the speaker upon startup.
I did just that - deleted the coil and added it again - same thing.

Thanks for the input though!

What you need to do is load the coil serial manually using remote.

Do the same thing with headphone modul.

Pay attention,,many make sure you have your letters and numbers correct.

Now if you still have problems....

Try this,,,turn off remote and just use headphone module. Load coil set number in headphone module,,,and see if it works.

Even if loaded incorrectly ,,,,,,you may get some visual info on remote,,,,but no tone.

Make sure you are not confusing letterO with number 0 for example.
