IM using the v3 now i just find its a little to much to adjust.I have been using it for about a year now.I have been thinking about the F75 LTD.
my question is does it false a lot???a lot of reviews say its made cheep is this just talk...I had a T2 and i could not use it no where near power lines i had to turn the sen.way down to the point to i lost a lot of depth.Any help....

My LTD does false some, some power lines gives it fits, but usually can be corrected with very little loss of depth and as far as being made cheap, they just feels that way. It is light weight, not built like a tank, but stands up. I had well over a thousand hours on my F 75 and had never had to send it in for any problem. Oh, and the LTD is a pretty darn good treasure finder, as well. HH jim tn

Thanks for the PM .IM looking at the CZ3 D too just not sure.im using the V3 now im not having any luck with it i was using the DFX and the safari and i was pulling good targets .But the dfx and safari is lacking in the depth department ...I love pulling those old silver coins out the ground my last was a silver dollar 1923 and it was with the DFX.not sure what to do...

I had a cz3d before getting the regular F 75. I never once regretted making the change. There are times, though, I regret not having the cz for certain types of hunting, beach being one, but the LTD would still be my go to detector for day in and day out hunting. HH jim tn

????????????? Might just be the luck of the draw though..

Does it false a lot??? No, but it does respond to very tiny bits of metal and that can make it seem a little chatty at times. I have had to deal with EMI in some places but once I learned enough about the detector and setting it up, I can now pretty mutch mitigate EMI chatter and detect targets very well. The boost mode is pretty incredible. I run that mode nearly all the time. I find more coins on edge in heavily hunted areas than I ever expected to be there and lock onto repeatable coin ID's in very trashy areas. Also uncover non-repeatable one way tone changes the would be masked with any other detector I've used. I have not used a V3 or any of the Minelabs yet.

A CZ is generally much quieter hunting, but if you run sensitivity too high it will false. Have to hunt fairly slow with the CZ to get best depth.

I grab the LTD more often for dirt hunting now than I do my other detectors. The CZ remains my go to salt water beach detector.
Cheers,

i've used the cz-5 and now use a t-2. i would think that the f-75 could do every thing on the beach that the cz can do.

F-75 does well at the beach. I have found that I need to really stay on top of ground balance over the wet salt sand and transition areas to keep it doing well.

I am so comfortable with the CZ. The CZ does not need much attention to the GB to keep it finding the deep green coins that have been there a while and other goodies. CZ ignores the tiny rusted, carbonized iron pieces that the F75 sounds off on. The ones that ID at 99 and sometimes bounce wildly. I know what they are with the F75 because they sound unique, but at some beaches they become mentally fatiguing. At this point I just enjoy the salt water beach hunting more with the CZ because I find it mentally relaxing. I have also produced more good targets over similar time spans with it over the wet salt areas; at least partly because I am so familiar with the CZ.

LTD is absolutely incredible with coins on edge in the dirt. In places I frequent, it nearly doubles my coin count in a given time over any of the other detectors I've used over the dirt; CZ included!

you've got a pm hunter

Sounds to me you won't like the F75/LTD. To run it the way it is meant to be run, you hear a lot of chriping but if you listen for the good tone you will find some great history. The LTD is not for everyone I would get the Omega 8000 with the 11DD it is my backup to the LTD and has its place as a great unit on its own.
