Question about the X-T 50 and noise........

Art (NWOH)

New member
Want to know if anyone has compared the X-T to the Sov in areas where the electrical noise is so brutal as to render the Sov nearly useless.

Side by side comparison only......I know that noise changes from day to day.

I think that there is a post a few down from Chris Ohio that the site was so bad with his Explorer he could not hunt that area. He was able to hunt it with the X-terra.

From post Chris Ohio: Using the X-Terra in the same specific area in the front of the house I didn't find any new "good" targets. However, on the side of house that's full of iron, I gave up with the CZ-70 and the EX II since it was so bad as well as near the power supply which caused a ton of interference. With the X-Terra, I started finding a bunch of good targets right away in this really bad challenging area. I posted a pic of everything I dug today.

Hope this helps

Thanks. That helps some.

Problem is, that I don't know what anyone else considers "bad" noise to be.

By bad, I mean requireing sensitivity levels Below 3 o'clock or lower to stop the chatter , or if it is so bad that the Sov will chatter at minimum sensitivity.

That's what I mean by BAD.
