QUESTION FOR WILLEE

Im from the Explorer Forum. Got your name there. Am going to SPI in a few days for the winter. Was wondering if you could give me some info on where its leagal to hunt &any tips you have for a first time beach hunter. I use an Explorer SE.Tips from anyone would be appreciated Thanks Stubbs 1

If you are going to the Corpus side, then the national seashore all the way to Port Mansfield is off limit, along with any state parks.
If you are going to the beach on Port Isabel side, then you are good anywhere on the shore all the way up to the Port Mansfield cut. The hotels and condos are usually good on the island at lest during the summer months. You will pick up a lot of clad on Isa Blanca Park. I will tell you we had red tide here and I was out there 3 weeks ago and it was still nasty, the water was yucky, and did make your eyes water. A couple months ago from what I hear you couldn't even stand to be on the beach there your eyes burned you coughed and the smell knocked you over. I would hope it is over by now. Good Luck

Thanks txkickergirl for the info, Iwill be on the Port Isabel side, so I guess I'm good to go.Thanks again. Stubbs 1
