question my explorer

i was just using the explorer emulator from a link on this site and noticed on the emultor when it is on digital,under the numbers it will show a coin,ring,foil,or pulltab,my explorer only will show coin or ring,do i have an older model or something?
 
The SE I have no longer shows pics when in digital mode - they were pretty useless. The first 2 models did have them.
 
The reason for the Coin Icon, Jewelery Icon was that you could tell if it was going to be a Conductive Target that you would want to dig. I noticed that when over Iron, that the Icons would disappear and thus, letting you know that the item was Ferrous. After the Explorer II came out, they still had the Icons but they didn't need them anymore due the have both the Ferrous and Conduct Numerical Display when in Digital. That is why the SE doesn't have the Icons like the Explorer XS and the Explorer II did. Hope this helps and Good Luck and HH.
