I'm looking at the Quattro and the x-terra Can you tell me the best one. I'm looking to put a small coil on it, also. Can you put them in all metal and the read out steal work?
 
Welcome Johnny, I think since you are wanting to use a small coil the Quattro is the one you need. There are many after market coils available. Minelab has no small coils for the Xterra series yet. The Quattro is a deeper machine too. Also the readout works in all-metal mode on the Xterra's and Quattro both. I'm taking it that you mean a small coil in 6" or less?
