Question on noise cancel

Johnny

New member
I have a expl 2 and when you noise cancel do you hold the coil about 15" off the ground are do you point it at the power lines???? What do you do?? In the USA

Basically find an area with no large objects or junk. Place the coil flat on the ground, press and release the noise cancel button and let the unit cycle until it stops and your good to go..For what its worth
hunted some areas that brought other detectors to their knees and was able to run a fairly high manual sensitivity with little or no problems..Now this is with the stock 10.5 and some acc. coils may differ..If I remember right read about a fellow that held his about a foot off the ground while doing this and worked well for him, but followed the XS manual and worked fine for me..
