Is it any lighter than Ex 11 if so how much, and have minelab achieved any better balance with it.
thanks in advance for any replies
 
The weight is a tad lighter but not much. What I have noticed, is it seems to be better balanced than the EXP 2 because of the thinner coil. I believe Minelab is heading in the right direction but have a Long way to go on the weight issue. I suggested to Minelab Yesterday to re construct the shaft where the battery pod is Hip or Chest Mountable. That in its self would solve the weight issue. HH, Ron
 
.. . . . weighing all the parts of the two units, the difference is under 3 ounces.
