Question on the prizm 3

Lookin into getting a prizm 3 over the ace 250. What can you guys tell me bout the luck you have had with them. I am mainly interested in old coins. Thanx

I don't know about the prizm three but I can tell you bought the ace 250 I don't want to get in trouble hear but the 250 is a good machine pinpointing is a pain in the a?????? but once you learn it .It still a pain, nice and light will find the good stuff .My wife now using the ace and loves it .I have had 2 Whites and loved them both I am using a M6 and cant say enough about it but it is a little heavy at times .I also had a BHID and wished I had kept it cant say enough about whites product and service just My opinion. Oh well ! The ace is a good to great unit (got one) The prizm II is a good to great unit(got one) minus the depth on the 3 dont need it !! tell me what u want to know and the ace will most likely win. That being said ! I use a white most of the time! Used a ace on the beach 2 wk ago it was really good! ID"D great! My prizm AMOST as well . I love features on both . sSo choose the unit that is what you need and what you will use/ not what u think u will use!!

???My understanding is all the Prizms are the same depth wise - just the increasing bells and whistles as you move up in the numbers. I had a prizm IV and liked it well enough other than the fact that one can't get smaller coils for trashy areas and the notch type discrimination leaves something to be desired in my opinion. Haven't used the Ace so can't compare there.
