In My Yahoo MD group I have a guy that is trying to use a older Whites Eagle Spectrum. at the beach. He says that over the wet sand he git's no signals at all. He lives in Panama city so I find it hard to believe theres not any targets. Any one got any Ideas. Bob in FL.

I am not downing the machine but they do not handle the wet sand very good. I had a XLT and it chattered and lost depth at the waters edge. The 6000 sereis ,XL pro MXT and the DFX will work better. My opinoin is the sell the eagle and get a Minelab sov. He will do alot better and find deeper targets. The Whites is a good dry sand machine.Just my opinoin,Joe
