Questions from a newbie

I have been enjoying reading the posts here on this forum, and thought that I would like to ask a question. Or two. I am from Texas, but my wife and I work in Kuwait as school teachers. I have been wanting to buy my first MD, and am leaning toward the Ace350 or the AT pro. Since I spend 10 months out of each year over here, I wonder if I should buy a Euro model of whichever one I choose? If I do need the Euro model, Can I get it from one of the discount dealers in the USA? All the dealers back home don't list the euro models, and all the dealers in Europe who carry the euro models want a princely price.......
If the USA model will handle the wet beaches here, does the extra levels of iron discrimination really help?
Also, does anyone know if the Ace350 or AT pro will fit in a regular suitcase?
Thanks in advance!
John Morton

If your legal address is in Texas, and you are not orientated to the metric system, get the US version. Both machines would pick up the targets anyway. I would love to see some of the targets you dig up. Keep in touch. :)

I'm not sure about the size of the AT Pro, but the 350 will break down to about 24" long (3 section rod) and will fit in most suitcases.
Good luck and let us know what you find!!

My AT-Pro fits into a saddle bag on my motorcycle once broken down
