Quick clad grab

The weather has been terrible, raining everyday. Had about two hours this afternoon to get out for a clad grab. After finally finding the fight person to talk to, I got permission to hunt the old high school athletic complex. The ground was pretty saturated, but i haven't been out all week so I didn't mind. I only covered about 100 square feet of ground and found 47 quarters, 35 dimes, 4 nickels and dug maybe 20 pennies. Also dug a big blingy ring. It got me excited there for a second. I am keeping all this clad in a separate bowl to count up when I finish. I am hoping for a $100 football field LOL.

That pretty good, if you were only there for two hours, you made minimum wage. That's better than I ever do.

Now that's an area that's never been hunted. Way to go!!

YaYa bay! Thats the place!...:clapping: you got to get in there with a screwdriver and run a 45 sens...-3 thresh DP tones and wipe that place out...especially when its damp wet and the grass is flat...you can have fun and really learn a lot from a place like that...set up DP tones and just see if you can bang Q's for a few hours to get the lay of the land..etc....
Thats a great haul in a short time...I'm thinking you could get a few more decent days out of there, maybe a few record days for yourself?...Nice Job!:clapping: Great spot to really learn speed hunting, and make Pay!!:beers:

Good idea. I could use this place to learn a lot of new information. I have never used DP tones and am a little leery but I guess you never know if you don't try. I am still concerned about getting depth with my f70. I haven't dug a target more than 6 inches or so. Any suggestions?

90% of the coins you find will be less than 6" deep. After you get tuned up then you can find some older places and slow down and deep search, the difference will be those deep coins will sound faint! a little more iffy, which will be a little different than clad stabbing.
